Employees are encouraged to contribute ideas, work cross-functionally, and play an active role in driving efficiency and maintaining high standards across quality, health & safety, and environmental performance.\n\nJob Purpose\n\nThe Performance Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, analysis, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the business.\n\nThis role plays a critical part in driving performance improvements, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, and enhancing systems and processes to improve overall efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure performance targets are met and continuously improved.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerformance Management & Reporting\n\nManage, monitor, and analyse KPIs using reporting tools and dashboards\nProduce accurate and timely performance reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual)\nIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement\nProvide insights and recommendations to support decision-making\n\nProcess Improvement & Systems\n\nDevelop and maintain systems for tracking performance targets\nIdentify inefficiencies and implement process improvements\nSupport the rollout and ongoing management of new systems and tools\nEnsure processes are clearly documented and consistently followed\n\nCompliance & Audit\n\nMaintain document control systems in line with business requirements\nCoordinate internal audits and support external audit processes\nEnsure compliance with legal, contractual, and operational standards\nMonitor and manage non-compliance, including reporting and corrective actions\n\nContinuous Improvement\n\nSupport the development and delivery of performance improvement strategies\nConduct root cause analysis on performance issues\nImplement corrective actions and monitor outcomes\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement across teams\n\nStakeholder Communication & Engagement\n\nCommunicate performance data clearly through reports, presentations, and meetings\nBuild effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders\nProvide guidance and support to colleagues on performance-related matters\n\nHealth & Safety Reporting\n\nMonitor and report on health and safety performance data\nSupport compliance with health and safety standards and procedures\n\nGeneral Duties\n\nAttend and contribute to performance and operational meetings\nSupport wider business objectives as required\nCarry out any additional duties appropriate to the role\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nProven experience in performance management, KPI analysis, and reporting\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly\nExperience working with compliance, audits, or regulated environments\nProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint\nExperience with reporting tools such as Power BI or similar\nAbility to review, improve, and implement processes and systems\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExperience supporting continuous improvement initiatives\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\nHighly organised with strong attention to detail\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\nConfident working with senior stakeholders\nProactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused\nAble to work both independently and collaboratively\nProfessional, reliable, and committed to high standards\n\nDesirable\n\nExperience in infrastructure, public sector, or similar environments\nKnowledge of performance management systems or dashboards\nUnderstanding of audit frameworks and integrated management systems\nFull UK driving licence\n\nOffice Angels is an employment agency and business.
