Working in high-hazard areas, you will play a key role in maintaining safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. Your duties will include: • Mechanical fitting and installation of plant equipment, • Installation, modification and repair of process pipework, • Working on pumps, valves, vessels and associated mechanical systems, • Reading and working from engineering drawings, isometrics and P&IDs, • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, • Supporting shutdowns and improvement projects, • Time-served Mechanical Fitter or completed apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering., • Proven pipefitting experience within industrial or process environments, • Experience working in chemical, water treatment or high-hazard manufacturing sites., • Ability to work safely, independently and to a high standard., • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
