Your Role\n We are looking for a proactive Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance of five commercial buildings, all within a short walk from each other in the heart of Manchester. Key Responsibilities\n\n • Lead and coordinate a team to efficiently complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks.\n, • Support the Site Supervisor in daily operations and act as their deputy during absences.\n, • Ensure all statutory documentation is maintained and available for audits.\n, • Manage contractors on-site through a Permit to Work scheme.\n, • Monitor plant performance using BMS and CAFM systems.\n, • Adhere to health and safety standards in all engineering practices.\n, • Oversee incident management and emergency response procedures.\n, • Maintain accurate shift logs and operational documentation.\n, • Support energy efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n, • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Discipline.\n, • Recognized Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship.\n, • IOSH Working or Managing Safely certification.\n, • 18th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations.\n, • City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection and Testing (desirable).\n, • Legionella Awareness Responsible Person certification (desirable).\n, • Knowledge of statutory compliance in water hygiene and HVAC systems.\n, • Experience with building services PPM schedules and SFG20.\n, • Strong understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Systems.\n, • Client-facing experience in a commercial FM background.\nWorking Conditions\n Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with 40 hours per week, allowing for a great work-life balance!
