Manor House School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. About the Role In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers to support pupils in reaching their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. You’ll have the opportunity to work one-to-one or in small groups, helping students engage with learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. You’ll also assist with classroom preparation, organise activities, and contribute to the warm and inclusive culture that makes our school special. Key Responsibilities • Support pupils’ learning and personal development, promoting confidence, resilience, and positive relationships., • Work under the guidance of teachers to deliver tailored learning experiences., • Assist with classroom organisation, lesson preparation, and small group interventions., • Contribute to maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment., • Help track pupil progress, maintain records, and communicate effectively with staff and parents., • Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of every student. Essential Criteria • GCSE Grade C or above in both Maths and English., • Willingness to undertake training and professional development., • Strong literacy and numeracy skills., • Full UK Driving Licence., • Understanding of safeguarding and SEN principles.
