1:1 Learning Support Assistant Richmond September 2025 Start Location: Richmond South West London Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only) Pay: 444 per week (PAYE) Interviews: ASAP Are you looking to work as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant in a supportive independent prep school this September A prep school in Richmond is seeking a full-time 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work with a Year 5 pupil with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This 1:1 Learning Support Assistant role is ideal for someone calm caring and proactive with a genuine interest in supporting childrens academic and social development. As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant you will help the pupil access lessons adapt tasks to suit his needs and encourage participation in both classroom and co-curricular activities. You will provide support in core subjects as well as in Games Drama and Music helping the child build confidence and progress academically and socially. You will work closely with the class teacher SENDCo and external professionals including Occupational Therapists Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists.
