Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Manager Location: Market Harborough Salary: £50,000 pro rata Hours: Part-time (2-3 days per week / 16-24 hours per week) Join PMI Solar and help us deliver clean energy with zero harm. We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to take ownership of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across our solar energy projects. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on driving safety culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational excellence in a growing renewable energy business. About the Role As SHEQ Manager, you will be the primary source of day-to-day SHEQ advice for PMI Solar, replacing outsourced advisory services. You’ll manage all key systems, including risk assessments, method statements, and incident reporting, while leading initiatives to embed a proactive safety culture across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include: • Safety Leadership: Work closely with the management team to promote hazard awareness, legal compliance, and continuous improvement., • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Calisen Group standards through audits, inspections, and KPI reporting., • Risk Management: Develop and maintain RAMS packs, policies, and controls for PV, battery, and associated technologies., • Training & Development: Identify SHEQ training needs and deliver awareness campaigns to maintain high standards., • Incident Response: Provide effective support for accidents, incidents, and complaints, ensuring statutory reporting and timely disclosure of near misses. Essential: • NEBOSH Certificate and IOSH membership, • Experience in HSE management roles, • Strong knowledge of SHEQ best practices, CDM regulations, and legislation, • Proven experience with risk assessments, audits, and training delivery, • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, • Environmental or Quality Management qualifications, • Experience with PV and battery technologies Why Join PMI Solar? • Flexible part-time schedule (2–3 days per week / 16-24 hours per week), • Competitive salary: £50,000 pro rata, • Opportunity to shape SHEQ strategy in a fast-growing renewable energy sector
