Freight Operations Account Manager Feltham £30,000 - £35,000 Base Our client is a market leader in UK & EU gateway logistics solutions, located in Feltham. They have a rich history, trading since 1999. They offer specialist bespoke solutions for the international freight forwarding industry, e-commerce business, global courier & postal systems. This role sits within an Operational department working as part of a varied and diverse operation logistics team. Responsibilities and Duties Working as a key part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities. Activities may include: Client Account Management • Act as the main contact for assigned accounts, building strong, long-term relationships., • Ensure timely delivery of solutions and communicate progress to stakeholders., • Prepare accurate invoices, maintain billing records, and support month-end reporting., • Coordinate with freight forwarders and third parties for quotes and timely shipments., • Partner with marketing to maintain brand visibility and monitor market trends., • Provide cover for colleagues during busy periods. Qualifications and Skills Essential • A highly motivated professional with a passion for delivering results., • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in freight forwarding or international logistics., • Proven track record in account management or a similar client-facing role., • Solid understanding of international trade regulations and customs clearance processes (UK and global)., • Demonstrated ability to deliver client-focused solutions and anticipate customer needs., • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels., • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail., • Flexibility to travel to designated markets as required. Desirable • Previous involvement in export projects and familiarity with export operations., • Leadership experience managing projects or small teams., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills., • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software tools., • Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities., • Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin) are a plus for supporting Asia and Latin American markets.
