    Full-time Contract | 35–48 Hours per week We're looking for passionate and energetic Waiter/Waitress to join our Duck and Rice team in Battersea Power Station, helping us create memorable dining experiences. The Role As a Waiter/Waitress, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring every guest has a memorable experience from the moment they arrive. You'll work closely with the wider Front of House team to provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will: • Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit., • Take accurate food and beverage orders, making recommendations where appropriate., • Have complete knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and daily specials., • Ensure tables are well presented, clean, and maintained to a high standard throughout service., • Check in with guests regularly to ensure they are happy and well looked after., • Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, hosts, and wider FOH team to ensure smooth service., • Respond to guest questions, requests, and feedback with a positive and professional attitude., • Handle payments accurately and efficiently., • Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant as required., • Support the wider FOH team during busy service periods., • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation at all times., • Help create a warm, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest. We're looking for candidates who • Have at least 1–2 years' experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment., • Have a warm, friendly, and confident personality., • Are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality., • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Are attentive to detail and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment., • Remain calm, professional, and positive under pressure., • Have a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn and develop., • Work well as part of a team and are always willing to support colleagues., • Take pride in their appearance and maintain high standards of personal presentation., • Hold the legal right to work in the UK.     We are seeking a enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Manager to join our Warm Rosette Pub in Barnes! We’re a community-focused pub in Barnes, with a strong reputation for great food, drinks and service. Alongside our everyday pub trade, we host a wide range of events, from birthdays and private parties to weddings, celebrations and larger gatherings. We’re looking for someone who is confident leading a team, passionate about hospitality and understands what it takes to run a successful pub. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll play an important role in the day to day running of The Crossing. You’ll be a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable managing a busy Friday night, overseeing a private celebration or making sure the cellar is running perfectly. You’ll help ensure that our guests receive consistently excellent service while supporting the team and maintaining the high standards we expect across the pub. Key responsibilities • Supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day operation of the pub, • Leading and motivating the team during busy services, • Maintaining consistently high standards of service, presentation and hospitality, • Taking responsibility for the pub in the absence of the General Manager, • Managing and maintaining the cellar, gas, • Managing stock levels, deliveries and stock rotation, • Supporting ordering and reducing waste and unnecessary stock loss, • Ensuring licensing, health & safety and company procedures are followed, • Training and developing team members, • Dealing confidently and professionally with guest feedback and complaints, • Helping maintain excellent relationships with regular customers and the local community Events are an important part of The Crossing, so experience in private hire and event management is highly desirable. This will include: • Liaising with guests and helping understand their event requirements, • Helping plan and organise events from enquiry through to completion, • Coordinating with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, • Ensuring event spaces are prepared and presented to a high standard, • Managing timings, menus, drinks packages and special requests, • Providing a warm, professional and personal service to hosts and their guests, • Helping generate repeat business and positive recommendations We’re looking for someone who: • Has previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a pub, bar, restaurant or similar hospitality environment, • Is confident and experienced with cellar management, • Has a genuine interest in beer, drinks and hospitality, • Has experience working with private events, functions or celebrations, • Is confident leading a team and taking responsibility, • Has excellent attention to detail and high standards, • Is calm and organised under pressure, • Has excellent communication and customer service skills, • Is commercially aware and understands the importance of sales, GP, stock control and reducing waste, • Is friendly, approachable and enjoys getting to know customers, • Is willing to be hands-on and lead by example, • Has a positive attitude and takes pride in the venue they work in What we offer • A key management position within a well-established Barnes pub, • Great shift patterns, this is not a late pub, • A friendly and supportive working environment, • The opportunity to take ownership and make a real impact, • Festive bonuses, • Staff benefits and discounts This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys pub life — someone who can confidently run a busy service, look after a cellar, lead a team and make sure a wedding, birthday or celebration is an event guests will remember.
