Assistant Private Secretary Location: Bromley, Orpington & Hybrid Working Salary: £32,149 - £35,113 plus out of hours allowance Contract: Permanent, Full Time Our client, a respected education group, is seeking a highly organised and professional Assistant Private Secretary to join its Executive Office team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PA, EA, Office Manager or senior administrator looking to work at the heart of a dynamic organisation, providing direct support to a Group Chief Executive and senior leadership team. Due to the nature of this role, the ideal candidate will be willing to work flexibly outside normal office hours, including breakfast meetings, evening events, occasional weekend working, travel between sites and external engagements, and short-notice changes to working patterns where required. Why Join Our Client? • Hybrid working across multiple sites, • High-profile and varied role with significant responsibility, • Opportunities to support major events and executive projects, • Exposure to senior leaders and strategic decision-making, • Excellent professional development opportunities, • Company vehicle available for business use Key Responsibilities • Support the smooth operation of the Group CEO's Private Office, • Manage complex diaries, meetings and executive schedules, • Coordinate travel, logistics, visits and events, • Prepare agendas, briefing papers and meeting materials, • Draft professional correspondence and communications, • Support executive projects and strategic initiatives, • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, • Monitor policy developments and provide concise updates, • Assist with governance-related administration, • Provide flexible support at events, meetings and external engagements, • Deputise for senior administrative colleagues when required What We're Looking For • Experience in a PA, EA or senior administrative role, • Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills, • Strong diary, event and project management experience, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • High levels of discretion, professionalism and confidentiality, • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills and confidence using technology and AI tools, • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, • Customer-focused and proactive approach, • Full UK driving licence, • A degree or relevant business administration experience would be advantageous., • A current and valid ENHANCED DBS is required for this role.
