    Team Leader – Chozen Katsu Express | ExCeL London, E16 Legacy Koncepts is looking for a reliable, hands-on Team Leader to take day-to-day responsibility for our Chozen Katsu Express kiosk at ExCeL London. Chozen Katsu Express serves freshly prepared Asian-inspired food in a fast-paced exhibition environment. The role is primarily based at the kiosk, although you will also be trained and expected to work within our other Chozen outlets at ExCeL when required. This is an operational role for someone who enjoys working alongside the team while providing clear direction, maintaining standards and ensuring the kiosk runs smoothly. What We Offer • £13.91 per hour., • A minimum of 64 guaranteed hours during each four-week pay period., • Additional hours available during busy event periods., • Performance and timekeeping bonus of up to £1.50 per hour after successfully completing a three-month probationary period., • Paid training and development., • Company pension contribution., • Staff meal while working., • 50% staff discount at other times., • Based at ExCeL London, E16. Hours are arranged around ExCeL’s changing event schedule and will not necessarily be spread evenly across each week. Regular weekend work is an essential part of the role, with some early starts, late finishes and longer shifts during major events. Your Responsibilities • Open and close the kiosk and ensure it is properly prepared for service., • Lead the allocated team during the shift and position staff effectively across serving, tills, food preparation and replenishment duties., • Work alongside the team and lead by example during busy service periods., • Maintain an efficient flow of food from preparation through to customer service., • Liaise with the kitchen and wider management team to replenish food before it runs out, while avoiding unnecessary overproduction and waste., • Maintain strict food-safety, allergen, hygiene, cleaning and labelling standards., • Promote a proactive clean-as-you-go approach and ensure closing cleaning is completed thoroughly., • Complete temperature checks, monitoring forms and other food-safety records accurately., • Monitor stock, cooking levels and wastage throughout the shift., • Operate the till accurately and follow card, cash and ExCeL voucher procedures when required., • Maintain food quality, presentation and portion-control standards., • Deliver friendly customer service and deal with minor customer concerns professionally., • Encourage appropriate recommendations and upselling to help maximise sales., • Report operational, equipment, staffing or compliance concerns promptly to management. Who We Are Looking For You should be: • Experienced in fast food, QSR or another busy food-service environment., • Confident working at pace while maintaining food quality and attention to detail., • Reliable, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for an outlet during your shift., • Able to give clear instructions and uphold standards while treating colleagues fairly, patiently and respectfully., • Willing to work alongside the team rather than supervise from the sidelines., • Proactive about food safety, cleaning, labelling and completing required records., • Comfortable using tills and carrying out basic stock and numerical tasks., • Flexible enough to work regular weekends and across the Chozen outlets when required., • Physically able to remain standing for extended periods and undertake normal manual-handling duties. Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience is preferred but not essential. We will also consider an experienced and dependable QSR team member who is ready to take the next step into leadership. A Level 2 Food Safety certificate would be beneficial, although the successful candidate will be required to complete Legacy Koncepts’ mandatory Food Safety, Allergen Awareness, Health and Safety and COSHH training.

Days: 3 days a week Baytna is looking for an experienced and reliable Stall Manager to manage our Syrian burger street-food stall across all KERB markets in London. This is a role combining street-food operations, food preparation, team management, stock and supplier management, driving and food safety. Our markets vary from week to week but will rotate between 4 locations: cow cross yards in farringdon, fleet place in Blackfriars gherkin in central and Francis road in Leyton. The Stall Manager will also assess which locations perform best and support decisions on where the business should trade. Key responsibilities: • Manage the day-to-day operation of our Syrian burger street-food stall., • Drive the company van from our base in Leyton (E10) to KERB markets across London, set up the stall and equipment, and return the van after service., • Prepare burgers and other ingredients ahead of market days. (Paid prep day), • Purchase and maintain sufficient ingredients and stock using Baytna's approved supplier list and company card., • Manage the stall during busy services and ensure food is prepared and served quickly and consistently., • Lead and support stall staff, including team members from refugee and diverse backgrounds., • Maintain all required food hygiene, health & safety and operational documentation., • Safely operate stall equipment, including connecting gas canisters and understanding correct fire-extinguisher procedures., • Monitor different KERB market locations and provide feedback on which markets are most suitable and commercially successful., • Help maintain the company van and arrange fuel and necessary vehicle expenses using the company card., • Support additional paid Baytna work where available, including private events, catering and supper clubs. Requirements: • Advanced English language, • Level 3 Food Hygiene & Safety certification., • Full valid driving licence and confidence driving an automatic medium size company van in London., • Previous experience in street food, catering, commercial kitchens, food stalls or a similar fast-paced food service environment., • Strong leadership and organisational skills., • Confident managing food preparation, stock and service independently., • Able to safely work with gas-powered catering equipment., • Reliable, punctual and comfortable taking responsibility for the full operation of a stall., • Willing to complete a DBS check. Desirable: • Someone living in East London or can easily get to Leyton, • First Aid qualification., • Health & Safety qualification., • Previous experience managing a street-food stall, food festivals Baytna works with refugees from a wide range of backgrounds and serves a diverse community. The successful candidate will be required to sign Baytna's Code of Conduct and uphold our zero-tolerance approach to racism, misogyny, religious discrimination, xenophobia and homophobia. We are looking for someone who can take real ownership of the stall from preparation and setup through to service, safety and pack down while helping us grow Baytna's Syrian street-food business across London and help young refugees in London.
