Payment Processing:Take payments from diners, including cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment. Ensure accurate billing and provide receipts. Training and Leadership:Train new wait staff, familiarizing them with protocols, menu items, and service standards. Assign opening and closing duties to staff members. Monitor wait staff performance and address any issues. Health and Safety Compliance:Maintain knowledge of health and safety standards in the hospitality industry. Communicate safety and hygiene protocols to servers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment. Skills Required Food Preparation:Understand food preparation processes, including proper cooking temperatures. Monitor portion sizes and presentation to enhance customer appeal.
