KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.\n\nJob Title: Hospitality Assessor – Front AND Back of House (Trainee or Qualified)\nFull training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.\n\nLocation: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel across Gloucester, Bristol and surrounding area.\n\nSalary: £31,600 - £34,300 (salary dependent on qualifications)\n\nPackage: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage + much more!\n\nType: Full-time, Permanent\n\nOur client is happy to consider non-qualified Assessors, who possess solid experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager cooking from scratch, and also have some Front of House experience at Supervisory level or above.\n\nFull training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Level 3 Teaching qualification.\n\nEssential Criteria:\nFOH Roles (Pub OR Restaurant OR Hotel): Supervisor, Team Leader, General Manager, Restaurant Manager, Operations Manager, Assistant Manager – or similar\nBOH Roles: Catering Manager, Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie\n\nMust have experience of food preparation, cooking and finishing across a substantial range of fresh and seasonal dishes (e.g. boning; filleting; creation of dough, stocks, sauces, pasta). \nExperience of working Front of House at Supervisory level or above, within a restaurant/pub setting.\nIdeally hold a Level 2 Hospitality qualification / Pro Cookery. \nMust be IT literate.\nMust be confident to support learners Maths and English Functional Skills.\nFull driving licence and use of own vehicle.\nMust be flexible with travel.Duties include:\n\nDelivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality (Front and Back of House specialisms). \nDelivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/face-to-face delivery).\nDelivering Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2.\nManaging your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.\nOrganise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.\nSupport, advise and motivate learners.\nOvercome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.\nMeet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.Please note:\nKM Recruitment receive a high number of applications for each role advertised and although we would like to we are not always able to deliver feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
