Getting started takes a CV upload and a short profile set up. What you can expectAs a Alternate Provision Tutor on Flexzo Teach, you can:Access flexible tutoring opportunities with local educational settings (short-term, long-term and ongoing support opportunities)Receive direct booking requests and messages from settings through the platformSet your availability and preferred working patterns, including in-person and/or online deliverySet your hourly rate with full transparencyBe visible to settings building internal staff banks and collaborative staff banks, meaning you may also be requested for interview as schools and trusts expand their local banksShare your subject specialisms and preferred key stages so settings can match you to relevant tutoring needs Typical responsibilities (varies by setting)Depending on the education provision, you may support with:Delivering tutoring sessions in line with agreed objectives and the setting’s prioritiesPlanning and adapting learning activities to meet learner needs, including appropriate differentiation and reasonable adjustments where requiredSupporting learners to engage with learning tasks and build independent learning stratergiesRecording session notes or progress updates where required and sharing these with appropriate staffCommunicating clearly with setting contacts to confirm delivery approach, timings, and any required resourcedFollowing safeguarding and compliance processes and escalating concerns in line with setting policy RequirementsPGCE / QTS preferred (minimum A-levels in relevant subjects)Experience tutoring learners in within an Alternative Provision or working with SEN/SEMHRight to work in the UKEnhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to complete one if required, particularly for in-person delivery).Confidence delivering sessions in-person and/or online, with clear communication and reliable professional conduct.Subject knowledge aligned to your tutoring offer (e.g. English, Maths, Science, Primary, SEND s upport) Pay and ratesYou set your own hourly rate within Flexzo Teach.
