In this role, you will lead, develop and support a team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. You'll play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement while driving performance across productivity, quality, and cost control.\nKey Responsibilities\n Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE legislation and site standards\n Proactively identify and reduce risks, hazards, and incidents\n Ensure all products meet food safety, integrity, and quality standards\n Maintain compliance through accurate documentation, traceability, and audit readiness\n Manage controllable costs including raw materials, packaging, and waste\n Ensure accurate data recording to support performance monitoring and improvement\n Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team, including agency staff\n Deliver training plans, conduct 1-to-1s, and drive engagement and retention\n Promote a flexible and collaborative team culture\n Identify and deliver improvement initiatives across performance, efficiency, and waste reduction\n Encourage team involvement in continuous improvement activities\n Ensure the site is audit-ready at all times\n Drive operational performance across efficiency, waste, and output\n Use data effectively to inform decisions and communicate results to the team\nSkills & Experience\n Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment\n Strong coaching, mentoring, and team development skills\n Excellent organisational and planning skills\n Strong communication skills\n * IT literate (e.g. MS Office; experience with SAP is advantageous)\n Flexible approach to work to meet operational demands\nWhat You'll Bring\n A proactive, hands-on leadership style\n Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement\n Ability to build positive and respectful working relationships\n * Drive to deliver results and improve performance\nShift Pattern\nMonday- Friday 14:00- 22:00\nAt Morgan Ryder we can provide you with a full range of employment opportunities from short term and fixed term temporary vacancies to permanent positions.\nWe recruit for companies that operate in the following industries: Defence Equipment, Food and Drink Manufacturers, FMCG, Packaging, Engineering, Automotive, Aerospace, Warehousing, Logistics, Waste Management, Petro Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Power & Renewable Energy.\nOur commitment:\nEqual opportunities are important to us.
