Prospero Teaching is working with a secondary school in E1 that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join their team from September 2026. We are looking for an individual with laboratory experience and a relevant degree who is passionate about supporting the delivery of practical Science lessons and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for students. Contract Details Location: E1 Position: Science Technician Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (may vary depending on the school's needs) Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience Schedule: Full-time Experience, Training and Qualifications Required A degree in a Science-related subject Previous laboratory experience (educational, industrial or research setting) Experience working within a school environment is desirable Strong organisational and practical skills Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a laboratory setting Ability to prepare, maintain and store equipment and materials for Science lessons Reliable, punctual and committed To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must: Have the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one Provide two professional references covering the last two years Other Information If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
