Please note this opportunity is an option after the Graduate Programme unless you have a civils background.\n\nThe role\n\nFerrovial Construction is looking for a Finance Graduate to provide support to the team. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to gain a general overview of financial management. The 2-year graduate development programme is designed to develop personal, professional and technical skills through a blended approach.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Processing and accounting of supplier and subcontractor invoices\n\n * Raise invoice queries in a timely manner with suppliers and/or site management teams\n\n * Ensuring that all accounting transactions are recorded timely, accurately and with compliance to relevant standards and principles.\n\n * Managing financial accounting and reporting systems (including Ferrovial bespoke systems and SAP)\n\n * Ensuring payments are processed in line with agreed payment terms and are fully compliant with Ferrovial terms and conditions\n\n * Promoting company values such as collaboration in all dealings with other employees, suppliers, subcontractors, and other external contacts.\n\nKey Accountabilities\n\n * Providing and interpreting financial information\n\n * Processing information efficiently\n\n * Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines\n\nSkills and Competence\n\nWe are looking for graduates with:\n\n * Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels\n\n * Excellent written and oral English language\n\n * Finance Degree or Master’s or a related field (Accounting, Maths, Economics)\n\n * Motivated to learn and add value to the team, the role and the Graduate programme\n\n * Analytical thinker who enjoys problem solving\n\n * A proven team player who can effectively work with others\n\n * Comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines\n\n * Proactive approach to working and learning\n\n * Familiar with all Microsoft packages\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Highly motivated\n\n * Logical thinker with a willingness to learn\n\n * Resilient and a flexible approach to working\n\n * Results driven with strong communication skills\n\n * Works well in a team environment\n\nDesirable\n\n * Finance experience\n\nEssential\n\nMust have right to work in the UK by the start of employment and for the duration of the Graduate Programme.\n\nWhat we offer\n\nOn the Ferrovial Construction Graduate programme you will get:\n\n * 2-year development programme in line with Ferrovial's framework\n\n * Attend a variety of blended training to develop your technical, professional and behavioural skills\n\n * Gain an understanding of Ferrovial Construction from a global perspective, with mobility opportunities\n\n * Given the opportunity to participate in charity volunteering and innovation projects.
