What you will do: • Independently manage a specialist clinical dietetic caseload, prioritising workload effectively., • Undertake comprehensive nutritional and dietetic assessments and accurately calculate patients' nutritional requirements., • Interpret relevant clinical information, including biochemistry, medication, and fluid balance, to inform appropriate care plans., • Prescribe nutritional support in accordance with professional standards, local policies, and clinical guidelines., • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs., • Attend ward rounds, case conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure nutrition is integrated into holistic patient care., • Provide complex dietary counselling and education to patients, families, and carers., • Communicate complex nutritional information clearly and sensitively to patients and healthcare professionals., • Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical records to support continuity and quality of care., • Participate in audits, surveys, research, and service improvement initiatives where appropriate., • Contribute to the ongoing development of high-quality dietetic services. Essential requirements: • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Dietetics., • Current HCPC registration., • Experience managing a specialist dietetic caseload., • Ability to undertake comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop appropriate care plans., • Confidence working autonomously and managing a varied clinical workload., • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, organisational, and prioritisation skills., • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
