It’s the perfect chance to dip your toe in (with no obligation!) and see if we’re the right fit for you.\n\nAbout the Job\n\nAs a Level 2 Swimming Teacher, you’ll prepare and deliver high‑quality swimming lessons for children and adults using the Swim England Framework. From baby lessons to competitive pathways (Stages 8–10), you’ll guide swimmers of all levels to reach their goals—and have fun doing it! \n\nYou’ll have the potential to work across all five of our welcoming sites in the London Borough of Hounslow, supporting one of the biggest and most successful swimming programmes in the region.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDeliver dynamic, engaging, and safe lessons following Swim England guidance\nCreate lesson plans and update weekly pupil assessments\nTake class registers and ensure all GDPR processes are followed\nSet up and manage equipment throughout each session\nModel Swim England Codes of Ethics & Conduct\nSupport safeguarding procedures & escalate concerns appropriately\nMentor Level 1 Assistant Teachers when required\nJump into the water when sessions need in‑water supportExperience and Qualifications Required\n\nSEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming, or STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming and STA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming qualification \nExperience of working in a comparable role.\nExperience of delivering first class customer service to a diverse client base.\nUnderstanding of relevant health and safety legislation and procedure, and the ability to exercise these in the workplace.\nExcellent communication skills, including listening, questioning, and delivering effective feedback, and the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with customers, children, their parent, and school officials.\n\nAbout Lampton Leisure\n\nLampton Leisure is community with health and wellbeing at our core.
