Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) is looking for a hands-on, creative Internal Communication & Engagement Specialist to provide maternity leave cover from 18-24 months. The successful candidate will deliver clear, timely and engaging communications that connect colleagues with MTS’s purpose, strategy and values. The role is hands-on: planning and executing internal campaigns, managing content on Pulse (our intranet), leading colleague recognition and engagement moments (e.g., long service stories), supporting town halls and surveys, and turning business updates into accessible, human stories. Success in this role will come from stakeholder engagement stats and looking after employee recognition. • Hybrid: working from home, with 2 days in the office per month. Must be able to commute to Micheldever and Winnall, near Winchester, • Essential: Must have worked in a similar role to be able to build more infrastructure and develop good practice, • Package: £40K per year (DOE) + Benefits, • Benefits: Finder’s fee, Life Insurance, Pension, a wide variety of Retail vouchers, Staff Rates, Eye Care Vouchers, Buy/Sell Holiday option, Flu Jab, Employee Assistant Program, Long Service Recognition, Enhance Maternity and Paternity payments, Cycle to Work, Charity Match About our role: • Deliver high‑quality internal communications and engagement activity that is consistent, inclusive and aligned to business priorities., • Manage and continuously improve Pulse content and governance, ensuring it remains the trusted single source of truth., • Lead recognition and engagement content that reinforces our values and culture., • Provide clear reporting on reach, engagement and feedback to drive continuous improvement., • Create, define and manage the MTS internal communications strategy., • Plan and deliver an annual internal communications calendar, • Create and publish content across our internal communication channels including FAQs, emails, Crew Room TVs, video scripts and talking points., • Act as a “super-user” for our internal communication tool: support colleagues with training, governance and content standards, and maintain templates and self‑serve toolkits. About you: • Experience in internal communications, employee engagement or related comms roles, delivering hands on content and campaigns., • Demonstrable track record managing intranet content and employee channels., • Experience producing recognition content and running engagement activities/events., • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with HR colleagues and business unit stakeholders.
