Job Description: Storeman • Carrying out general stores and yard duties, • Managing materials and stock control, • Booking materials in and out, including overseeing deliveries and collections, • Managing the issue and return of plant and equipment, including maintaining sign in/sign out records, • Operating a forklift truck, • Managing company vehicles, including servicing, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep, • Maintaining vehicle-related records, including driver eyesight check records, • Collecting materials from suppliers and delivering materials, tools, and equipment to site locations What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or yard-based role, • Forklift licence preferred, but not essential, • Full UK driving licence essential, • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, • Ability to manage paperwork, records, and stock systems accurately, • Proactive attitude with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role, • Experience within construction, electrical contracting, or a similar environment would be advantageous, • Basic computer skills beneficial Salary & Benefits • £37,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience), • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, • Profit share scheme, • Private healthcare (available once CSCS/ECS card has been obtained) Experience: • Stores, Warehouse and Forklift: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: • Licence (required) Work Location: In person
