Location: Omagh, covering the whole island of Ireland, approx. 50% office, 50% site based. \n \n Anderson McQue is partnering with a well-established civil engineering contractor firm to recruit an experienced Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor. \n \n Main Duties \n\n • Ensure all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, rules and regulations are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.\n, • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations; compile reports and ensure compliance is consistently maintained.\n, • Ensure the completion and regular review of Method Statements and Risk Assessments.\n, • Ensure all accidents and near misses are documented, investigated and the recommended improvements are implemented.\n, • Ensure that employees, contractors, and site visitors receive site induction.\n, • Plan and coordinate SHEQ related training for employees.\n, • Maintain and update all relevant SHEQ Department administration.\n, • Assist in developing all the required documentation for the SHEQ Management System in compliance with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.\n\n \n Qualifications, knowledge, and experience \n\n • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar Health and Safety role – knowledge of Rail works and or Windfarm works would be beneficial, but not essential.\n, • NEBOSH (or equivalent) Qualification Certificate – minimum held for at least 2 years.\n, • Environmental and Quality qualification is advantageous.\n, • Exposure to and understanding of implementation of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001\n, • Excellent communication and team building skills.\n, • Well-developed organisation / planning skills.\n, • Good problem - solving skills, provides solutions.\n, • Sound IT skills and strong experience including Microsoft packages.\n, • Must be willing to travel and work away from home on project-by-project basis across Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.\n, • Must have the right to work in UK and Republic of Ireland.\n, • A valid driving licence is essential for travel to site locations.\n\n \n Benefits \n\n • Competitive Salary\n, • Vehicle and DCI Card provided\n, • Pension Scheme\n, • Holiday Scheme – accrue up to 35 holidays during your first 5 years of service\n, • Private Health Scheme and Cash Plan\n, • Length of Service Bonus\n, • Training and Development Opportunities\n\n \n Our client is an equal opportunities employer.
