Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant include: • Preparation of full set of consolidated management accounts, including:, • Reconciliation of stock and posting of stock movement journals – shared with assistant accountant, • Review of monthly journals prepared by the assistant accountant, • Calculation of commission payable, • Posting of GRNI journal, • Posting of inter-company journals and re-charges, • Balance sheet reconciliations – shared with assistant accountant, • Review of variances and commentary against prior year and budget, • Review of expenses, especially VAT and nominal coding including credit card accruals, • Fixed asset review and capitalisation – shared with assistant accountant, • Preparation of UK / Polish VAT return, • Assisting with Audit queries, • Preparing weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts, • Assisting with stock takes, • Preparation of corporation tax packs, • Preparation of payroll for c.110 employees, • Assisting with rolling forecasts and long term cashflow projections, • Business Partnering with Budget managers Key Skills & Experience required: • QBE, AAT Qual or PQ ACCA/CIMA, • Strong ability to plan, prioritize workloads, and delegate effectively., • Manufacturing experience preferred (not essential), • Solid understanding of management accounts and day-to-day accounting procedures Salary up to £45k DOE, fully office based (with some flexibility for hybrid working after probation) This is a full time position, working 8:30am - 5pm.
