This is a predominantly remote role offering the opportunity to play a key part in strengthening financial control, regulatory reporting, and finance process improvement. \n The Role: \n Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of regulatory reporting across multiple regulated entities, ensuring submissions are accurate, robust, and delivered within regulatory deadlines. You will also support broader finance activities, including management accounting, cash forecasting, VAT reporting, and financial controls. \n Key responsibilities include: \n\n • Preparing and overseeing UK regulatory returns, including MiFID and RMAR reporting.\n, • Reviewing and enhancing regulatory reporting models, controls, and documentation.\n, • Supporting ICARA-related analysis, capital and liquidity reporting.\n, • Assisting with management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and VAT returns.\n, • Driving process improvements and strengthening reporting controls.\n, • Working closely with Finance, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders.\n, • Coaching colleagues and improving regulatory reporting knowledge across the finance function.\n\n To be successful, you will be: \n\n • A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).\n, • Experienced in financial control and management accounting within a regulated financial services environment.\n, • Knowledgeable in UK regulatory reporting requirements, including MiFID and RMAR returns.\n, • Highly proficient in Excel, with strong modelling and spreadsheet review capabilities.\n, • Comfortable communicating complex regulatory and financial matters to a range of stakeholders.\n, • Experienced in improving processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.\n\n

What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting and reporting experience gained within a UK business environment. You will also possess: Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS Experience managing statutory reporting and compliance requirements Previous audit management experience Knowledge of VAT and corporation tax compliance Proven people management and leadership capability Advanced Excel skills and experience of ERP or accounting systems Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
