Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Ayrshire Salary: £43,000 Hours: Monday–Friday, Dayshift (Early Friday finish) Location: Ayrshire Role Overview We are seeking a hands on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who is interested in developing into a support/leadership role - working alongside and overseeing a small team of engineers. This role offers a 70/30 split between engineering work and team/department support and includes involvement in key maintenance and operational decisions. Key Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day support, guidance, and coordination for the engineering team., • Contribute to maintenance planning and departmental decision making., • Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance., • Diagnose faults and deliver effective engineering solutions., • Lead mechanical repairs, inspections, overhauls, and equipment changeovers., • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives., • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
