The Role You will lead day to day warehouse and transport operations, ensuring stock accuracy, efficient workflow, compliant logistics, and a motivated, high‑performing team. You’ll strengthen operational discipline, uphold ISO and HSQE standards, and deliver reliable service through effective planning and leadership. Key Responsibilities * Lead daily warehouse & transport operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and service excellence * Maintain accurate stock control through inventories, forecasting, and discrepancy investigation * Oversee goods‑in/goods‑out processes, quality checks, and customs‑related compliance * Manage team schedules, performance, training, and development for warehouse staff & drivers * Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, health & safety, environmental and transport legislation * Oversee import/export activity at our HMRC Authorised Consignee/Consignor site * Monitor KPIs, productivity, service levels, and produce operational reporting * Ensure vehicles, equipment, and facilities meet company and legal standards * Assess logistics partners, support cost efficiency, and implement process improvements What You’ll Bring * Experience managing warehouse, logistics and transport operations * Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams * Solid understanding of compliance, H&S, stock management, and workflow planning * Hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement * (Desirable) Experience with customs‑controlled sites or ISO‑driven environments * (Desirable) Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Benefits * 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata), increasing with length of service * Private medical insurance * Company pension scheme * A stable, long‑established employer with rapid growth and real development opportunities Inclusion & Equal Opportunities We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, including people of colour, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, neurodivergent candidates, parents, carers, and those from lower socio‑economic backgrounds.
