Our client based in Basildon is looking for a Forklift Operative to join their growing team on a temporary basis. \n The ideal candidate for this role will have previous warehouse experience, with an in date Counterbalance Forklift licence, excellent communication skills and a solid work history with no gaps and a strong work ethic. \n The Forklift Operative duties will involve:- \n\n • Loading and unloading of freight going through the warehouse using a Counterbalance Forklift\n, • Notifying Supervisor of any shortages or damages\n, • Ensuring that the appropriate booking in procedure is adhered to and dims etc are checked and reported back to the relevant department.\n, • Ensuring that all vehicles are handled in a prompt manner\n, • Ensuring that all freight leaving the warehouse is signed for upon collection\n, • Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse\n\n Hours of work are Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern 6am - 2:30pm, and 11:30am to 8:00pm or till finish. \n Due to the nature of this business all candidates must have 5 full years employment / education history with no gaps and will be subject to a DBS Check.
