    This permanent, part-time position is for a Care/Support Worker to provide essential support to a male family member living at home. The individual has severe complex disabilities, including significant mobility issues and communication difficulties, requiring assistance with daily living and personal care. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy individual who is flexible with shift patterns and can work independently to a great extent. Available Roles: • Role 1: Monday-Friday mornings, 07:30 AM - 09:30 AM, • Role 2: Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 AM - 03:00 PM (2 weekends per month), • Role 3: Saturday & Sunday, 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM (2 weekends per month) Please specify which role you are applying for. Local applicants are encouraged due to travel considerations. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: • Responsible for the client's personal welfare and providing personal care., • Prepare and administer meals and drinks., • Supervise, plan, and assist with activities and social events, adhering to care plan guidelines., • Ensure the client's room is kept in good order, reporting any issues immediately., • Perform household duties related to the client, including cooking, washing, ironing, cleaning, and dusting., • Complete daily records, care plan summaries, petty cash reports, and critical incident reports., • Attend review meetings with the employer and other nominated persons., • Undertake necessary training courses as enrolled by the employer., • Accompany the client to hospital appointments, day centres, and other therapeutic care., • Liaise effectively with other agencies.
