Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen equipment usage. Skills Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
