If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Your Role\n We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our IT Services Division on a fixed-term contract, supporting our Data Cabling business. In this pivotal role, you will be the key Finance Business Partner to the Operational Director, driving financial performance and ensuring robust financial control across a diverse portfolio of projects and contracts. \n This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who thrives on collaboration, influencing stakeholders, and providing valuable commercial insights. Your Key Responsibilities\n As our Finance Manager, you will: \n\n • Partner with the Operational Director and senior management to deliver high-quality financial insights that support decision-making.\n, • Lead project and contract reviews with Project Managers, providing financial analysis for accurate forecasting and cost assessments.\n, • Prepare monthly management accounts, including all month-end adjustments.\n, • Produce rolling forecasts, year-end forecasts, and detailed revenue and margin projections, while challenging variances with Operations.\n, • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.\n, • Identify and report business risks and opportunities.\n, • Oversee working capital reporting, including debtor plans and cash flow optimization.\n, • Represent finance in monthly business review meetings with the senior leadership team.\n, • Support bids, tenders, and commercial reviews with financial analysis.\n, • Assist with annual budgets, audits, and year-end processes.\n, • Drive process improvements through ERP and operational efficiencies.\n, • Provide ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to enhance business performance.\n, • Collaborate with divisional finance to improve reporting, governance, cash collection, and financial discipline.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n We seek a commercially focused finance professional who excels at building strong relationships and influencing business performance. Ideally, you will have: \n\n • A full qualification in ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.\n, • Experience in a Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, or similar role.\n, • Strong management accounting, forecasting, and financial control experience.\n, • Experience in project-based, contract-led, or services environments.\n, • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.\n, • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.\n, • The confidence to challenge and support non-finance stakeholders.\n, • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.\nDesirable Experience\n\n, • Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills.\n, • The ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.\n, • Experience working with operational teams to enhance performance and profitability.\n, • A collaborative approach with the confidence to engage across multiple stakeholder groups.\nWhy Join Us?\n This role offers you the chance to be a key member of a dynamic finance team within an innovative IT Services business.
