As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will … • Undertake HVAC, mechanical and public health system design across a range of project sectors, including calculations, drawings and specifications., • Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, with experience of Revit being advantageous., • Undertake energy modelling using IES software; experience of Part L compliance, NZC assessments, overheating analysis, TM54 and BREEAM HEA04 is highly advantageous., • Complete SAP calculations to produce domestic EPCs., • Support project delivery from concept through to detailed design and technical coordination., • Survey and report on mechanical systems within existing buildings., • Monitor, report and support contract administration during construction., • Undertake witnessing duties during project handover., • Collaborate with clients, design team members, suppliers and contractors to deliver technically robust, efficient solutions., • Comply with Brookbanks QA procedures and support wider departments when needed. What we’re looking for • Degree educated in a relevant discipline, • Strong mechanical design skills across building services, • IES and Revit experience is desirable, • Working towards chartership or Chartered, • Driving license Want to find out more?
