Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Offer addiction counseling services to clients struggling with substance use disorders.
Engage in child and family counseling to support the emotional well-being of children and their families.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards.
Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance treatment methodologies and outcomes.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals in hospital settings to ensure holistic care for patients.
Facilitate psychotherapy sessions aimed at improving clients' coping strategies and overall mental health.
Requirements
Current state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Experience in addiction counseling, pediatrics, geriatrics, or related fields is highly desirable.
Proficient in medical documentation practices and familiarity with ICD-9 coding.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-directed.
