As a Master Technician at CPR, you'll play a critical role in this mission—not only delivering expert service to our clients but also mentoring and developing the next generation of elite technicians. Primary Responsibilities Diagnose and repair high-end gas, steam, and electric kitchen equipment including combi ovens, pressure fryers, commercial dishwashers, mixers, and speed ovens -Service commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems -Troubleshoot and service advanced electric control systems -Lead installations and commissioning of new commercial cooking equipment -Mentor and train apprentice and junior technicians through hands-on shadowing, technical instruction, and professional development -Develop training curriculum and best practices that can be replicated across the organization -Manage escalated service calls requiring expert-level technical knowledge -Deliver hospitality-focused service that makes kitchen teams feel valued and supported -Demonstrate genuine care and professionalism for clients whose operations depend on reliable equipment -Serve as a role model for technical excellence, professional conduct, and customer service standards Service Locations Your expertise will support commercial kitchen facilities across diverse industries, including: -Restaurants (fine dining, casual, fast-casual, QSR) -Hotels & Resorts -Hospitals & Healthcare Facilities -Schools, Colleges & Universities -Corporate Cafeterias -Catering Companies -Country Clubs & Golf Courses -Sports Stadiums & Arenas -Convention Centers -Nursing Homes & Assisted Living Facilities -Prisons & Correctional Facilities -Military Bases -Airports -Food Production Facilities -Bakeries & Commissaries Required Qualifications Technical Requirements: -CFESA Certification (current certification or ability to obtain within specified timeframe) -5+ years of professional experience servicing commercial food equipment -Demonstrated leadership and technical training capabilities with a proven track record of developing technicians -Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills -Valid driver's license with clean driving record -Ability to pass company drug screening and background check -Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Professional Competencies: -Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse teams -Passion for teaching and developing talent—you genuinely enjoy sharing knowledge and watching others grow -Service-oriented mindset with genuine care for client operations and personnel -Ability to over deliver hospitality-driven service that builds trust and confidence -Positive, professional demeanor that remains calm under pressure -Excellent organizational and time management abilities -Collaborative team player with a results-driven approach -Self-motivated professional who adapts well to changing priorities -Professional appearance and presentation -Patient, encouraging mentor who can break down complex concepts for learners at all levels Compensation & Benefits Package -Competitive hourly compensation ($30-$45/hr) commensurate with experience and expertise -Professional uniforms that reflect the quality and professionalism of our service -Premium tool kit provided—featuring industry-leading tools from Klein, Wera, Wiha, Fluke, Milwaukee, and Veto Pro Pack.
