Job sites often come with dirt, dust, and varying temperatures. Physical Requirements While some projects, such as our file sorting jobs, are more reliant on our analytical skills, others tend to be more laborious. Not every school has an elevator, which sometimes requires us to haul trash, lift furniture, and generally traverse up and down several flights of stairs to get a job done. Each crew member is required to lift at least 25lbs on their own and in collaboration with other crew members, and to be able to do so repeatedly. This is not a role that often allows sitting while working, as most of our projects demand us to be on our feet the entire day. Being in good physical health is a requirement for this role to be sustainable long-term. Responsibilities ICS seeks a School Counsel to assist, support and cultivate a strong school culture anchored in social emotional and academic support. Serving as the childs in-house advocate, the counselors main role is to identify and support every childs academic, social-emotional and behavioral needs both in and outside the school environment. This is done through many avenues and consulting with key players in a student's learning process: family unit, teachers, school administrators and outside mental health professionals to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment for the student. Counselors are 10-month, school-based employees. Responsibilities: • Provision of needs assessment of presenting problems and any other social, emotional, cultural and familial needs, • Provide direct evidence-based individualized interventions for students and family (academic, social emotional and behavioral), • Classroom/ lunchroom observations and push-in for the purpose of assessment and follow through on management plans, • Evaluating chosen evidenced-based interventions to determine effectiveness and cultural appropriateness, • Using data to curate 1:1 and strategic group counseling to aid in skill and social emotional development, • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and able to execute universal and tiered interventions to best support students and address emerging trends, • Collaborate and consult with Principal, Assistant Principal, Dean, teachers, staff as well as network support to create plans on how to best support student(s), • Attends and actively participates in all collaborative meetings with school leadership, • Work collaboratively with families and outside providers to link families to community based mental health resources and support when and if necessary., • Guardian engagement - introduction and outreach to caregivers of the entire caseload to better understand the needs of their child. Responsibilities • Attends and participates in mandated OnTrack trainings and conference calls and maintains fidelity with OnTrack model of care., • Provides direct psychiatric care for Kings OnTrack participants., • Utilizes a shared decision-making process for treatment decisions with participants and families., • Systematically monitors response to medications and side effects in order to ensure safety and tolerability., • Adheres with clinic policies and procedures., • Participates in outpatient behavioral codes, follows code protocol and uses de-escalation measures., • Conducts risk assessment, risk management, outreach, and clinical documentation in accordance with policy and protocols., • Coordinates care with primary care and other medical specialists., • Collaborates with acute care providers for participants admitted to the emergency room, CPEP or inpatient services., • Responds in a clinically appropriate time frame to assist participants in crisis., • Is available to respond to participants’ emergencies outside of scheduled visit times., • Is available by phone nights and weekends for calls from team therapists regarding time sensitive clinical needs., • Cooperates with team to complete OnTrack data reports on time., • Collaborates with Kings OnTrack team and clinic leadership to implement corrective action plans., • Supervises medical students and residents. Qualifications • Must be board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry, • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine, • Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry Annual Base Salary: $142,140* (board eligible); $148,320* (board certified) based on 24-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $260,354 (board eligible) and $267,152 (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below: • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000., • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):, • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings.
