Project types include new construction & renovation, capital repair and retrofit projects, and infrastructure-focused projects. The Program Director of Community Housing ensures that the Agency’s mission is carried out; and that the Agency’s policy and procedures are adhered to. Responsibilities: 1. Provide supervision and oversight to programs and management staff., 2. Act as liaison to funding and regulatory bodies such as NYS Office of Addiction Services & Support (OASAS), Human Resources Administration (HRA) & Department of Health & Mental Hygiene (DOHMH)., 3. Ensure compliance with all applicable operating regulations and Odyssey House standards and participate in all tenants’ annual recertification applications/review within areas of responsibility., 4. Monitor the day-to-day operations of the clinical and facility department to ensure compliance with Odyssey House funding sources., 5. Develop new linkages, affiliations and referral sources with external service providers., 6. Assure that all staff members are trained on and adhere to Odyssey House policies and applicable regulatory standards., 7. Acts as tenant advocate, ensuring that all tenant rights are respected and that all grievances and complaints are addressed in a timely and equitable manner in accordance with Odyssey House policies and all applicable laws and regulations., 8. Review and approve personnel actions for all employees within designated area of responsibility, including recruitment, promotion, disciplinary action and separation of program staff., 9. Prepare written annual evaluations for all direct reports and ensure the evaluations are completed accurately and objectively for all employees within designated areas of responsibility., 10. Prepare all proposals and monthly reports as needed., 11. Supervise the maintenance of adequate and up-to-date records on all tenants, as well as supervise record-keeping responsibilities of staff., 12. Monitor operating budgets in areas of responsibilities making recommendations to improve cost efficiency, allocations, and expenditures., 13. Conduct scheduled management meetings and supervision with all direct reports., 14. Develop, administer, and oversee Quality Management activities within area of responsibility., 15. Establish new linkages with real estate brokers and landlords., 16. Review and sign off on all Leases., 17. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and on call 24/7 when necessary., 18. JOB SUMMARY Millbrook Terrace is an affordable housing development for seniors, located at 570 East 137th Street in the Mott Haven section of The Bronx. The development provides 158 residences, including 48 studio units for formerly homeless individuals. The Property Manager position partners with Social Services staff to collaborate in the development, evaluation and implementation of agency policies, procedures, and programs with the goal of improving the services provided to residents. The Property Manager is responsible for safe operations of the building; staff supervision, operating the property within the budget, facility maintenance, compliance, resident relations and collaborating with the social services team to keep residents stably housed. Job Description ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW The School of American Ballet (SAB) at Lincoln Center, founded by George Balanchine and Lincoln Kirstein, is the preeminent ballet school in the country. Our mission is to train professional dancers for careers in classical ballet. During the Winter Term (September-June), sixty-four Advanced students reside on-site at the School in the Meredith Willson Residence Hall, a facility shared with the Juilliard School. During SAB’s 5-week Summer Course (June and July), 200 middle school and high school students reside on campus. STUDENT LIFE DEPARTMENT SAB’s Department of Student Life is dedicated to fostering and promoting a well-rounded approach to the emotional, social, physical, cultural, intellectual, and academic spheres of SAB students’ lives. The Department’s work is deeply engrained into the SAB student experience and aims to enhance students’ artistic training by supporting them fully outside of the studios. At times, the Residence Life Assistant role will require a level of physical exertion beyond sitting. Move-in and move-out periods will require longer stretches of activity and physical tasks such as lifting, sorting, and organizing. Duty and on-call responsibilities may result in disrupted sleep or longer workdays without prior notice. A successful candidate will show the ability to balance their self-care and well-being with the responsibilities of the Residence Life Assistant position. POSITION DESCRIPTION (Hiring for 7 open positions) The Residence Life Assistant (RLA) role was created to provide live-in supervision for approximately 190 students from ages 11 – 18, who live in the Meredith Willson Residence Hall at the School of American Ballet for the 5-week training intensive known as the Summer Course. Residence Life Assistants will work as part of the Student Life department, providing 24-hour supervision in all aspects of the student experience, including during chaperoned trips, in responding to emergencies and in enforcing curfew and sign-out procedures. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to consistently enforce School policy and procedure, while developing professional rapport with students that supports a positive community atmosphere where all students feel safe and respected. SAB will provide RLA staff members with a fully furnished private room housed within a suite of Summer Course students, where they are required to reside. During employment, RLA staff are not permitted to host guests, or possess/consume alcohol anywhere in the building. This is a part-time, non-exempt position, reporting to the Residence Life Leadership Team. Dance experience is not required or preferred. Diverse applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. WSFSSH develops, manages, and provides housing for low- income older persons, many of whom live with mental illness and/or have experienced homelessness. WSFSSH currently owns and operates nearly 2200 units in 28 buildings located in Manhattan and the Bronx. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work begin at approximately 5:00 a.m. and end when deliveries or pick-ups are completed. Start and end times will vary based on routes assigned. The total hours per week are a minimum of 40 hours and may exceed 40 hours per week on a regular basis. This position may occasionally require longer hours when workload or project deadlines require it.
