Program Description: Family Connect is a specialized sub-network for pregnant and newly parenting New Yorkers that is part of the larger WholeYouNYC social care network. Family Connect receives referrals from health and social service providers for pregnant and newly parenting NYC residents, screens them for their needs and interests, and refers them on to home visiting programs, doulas, and many other services and supports utilizing an electronic referral management system, Unite Us. The goal of Family Connect is to connect families with services by connecting to community and clinical services and addressing health-related social needs to ultimately improve maternal and infant health outcomes. Summary of Position: Public Health Solutions is seeking a bilingual (English/Haitian Creole, English/Spanish, or English/Bengali) Navigator to support the Family Connect (FC) coordinated intake and referral network. Job Description Overview Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding One (1) Psychiatrist to the Child Outpatient Department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers. The Department of Psychiatry provides care and services to one of the most diverse population in New York. The Department has 60 acute inpatient beds, a busy Psychiatry ED, a Mobile Crisis Team, a Consultation-Liaison Service and a large ambulatory platform serving adults and children. The Department provides on-site school-based services to multiple Bronx sites. Lincoln offer a variety of state-of-the-art Substance Use treatment services across all care setting including consultation, medication assisted therapies and ongoing treatment modalities through the Lincoln Recovery Center. The hospital has a growing psychiatry residency program and maintains a strong academic affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University to continue its high standards of healthcare delivery, and to provide its staff with teaching and research opportunities. Responsibilities • Provide psychiatric management for children and teens, ages 5-18, in an outpatient setting, • Develop treatment plans and manage electronic medical record (EPIC) in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health and other regulations, • Provide psychiatric consultation and collaborative care to pediatric and adolescent medicine, child crisis, and emergency medicine services, • Provide clinical supervision to psychiatry residents and medical students, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team in management of complex cases, • Participate in didactic training programs for psychiatric residents, medical students, psychology interns and other trainees, • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities Qualifications • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine, • License to practice medicine in the State of New York, • ACGME accredited residency in Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Annual Base Salary: $247,200* (board eligible); $257,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
