Responsibilities and Duties • Use the state standards and curriculum to create a rigorous and objective-driven arts program, • Use technology tools for instruction, planning, and communication and ensure student engagement, • Eagerly learn new uses and applications of technology tools, • Collaborate with classroom teachers to create interdisciplinary units that teach grade level content knowledge and skills through the arts, • Promote students self-expression and exploration while deepening their knowledge and understanding of art, design and art history, • Incorporate art history in ways that are engaging and meaningful to students and objectives, • Measure student achievement and progress towards learning objectives using the school’s formative and summative assessment tools, • Provide ongoing and timely feedback to students on their progress towards meeting expectations and achieving goal, • Communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with students, families, colleagues and administrators, • Establish, involve, and assist students in the development, maintenance, and evaluation of portfolios Pay Transparency: The salary range for this role is $62,500 - $77,000. Base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Job Summary The Academy Charter School Security Guard Protects school property and insures safety of pupils and staff by providing adult supervision inside and outside of the school. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Patrol hallways, main entrances and recreation areas and occasionally provides supervision as needed, • Provide supervision for bus areas during arrival and dismissal times, • Check perimeter to ensure no unauthorized access into school is available to outsiders, doors are locked and to become aware of any potentially harmful activity occurring, • Check the functioning of security system, • Check first floor restrooms, • Provide direction to visitors at main entrance- check to see that visitors have signed, • Control building access and respond to alarms, • Alert Administrators of problems arising from congestion or other sources, • Responsible for the safety and welfare of all students during admission and dismissal, • Interact with students, parents and colleagues in a professional, positive and inspiring manner, • Other tasks as assigned Pay Transparency: The hourly range for this role is $18.00/hr.- $ 21.50/hr.
