Senior Design Manager – Brand Experience, European Brands 2/3 Days per week in the Hackensack, NJ office- Shuttle offered from NYC Compensation range- 160-175K plus bonus Role Overview The Senior Design Manager – Brand Experience will be responsible for shaping, elevating, and protecting the visual identity and consumer experience of Flora Food Group's European brands.(Flora, Becel, BlueBand and Elmlea) This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring that design consistently communicates our brand purpose, drives consumer engagement, and delivers excellence across every touchpoint. You will act as both a creative leader and a maker—guiding others while remaining closely involved in artwork development, packaging, and final production. Key Responsibilities Brand Identity & Visual Storytelling • Define and evolve the visual identity of multiple brands, ensuring coherence, distinctiveness, and impact across all channels., • Translate brand strategies into compelling visual narratives that resonate with both global and local audiences., • Lead the creation of packaging design systems that differentiate across retailers and formats while reinforcing brand equity., • Oversee the development of consumer-facing design assets across packaging, shopper marketing, digital, in-store, and experiential activations., • Drive projects from concept through to production, including sketches, mockups, artwork, and production-ready files., • Balance long-term brand building with agile, short-term activations that keep the brands modern and relevant., • Provide design leadership and inspiration to cross-functional teams while remaining hands-on with creative execution., • Collaborate with marketing, R&D, pack development, shopper, and agency partners to deliver integrated, consumer-centric experiences., • Present work persuasively to senior stakeholders, championing design excellence while ensuring alignment with business objectives., • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creativity, craft, quality, and deadlines. About You Experience & Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in brand design, visual communication, or related roles within CPG., • Strong portfolio showcasing breadth across brand identity, packaging, digital, and experiential design., • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); 3D/rendering tools a plus., • Proven ability to own creative development from strategic brief to flawless delivery., • Strong conceptual thinker with outstanding storytelling and visualization skills., • Deep understanding of typography, color, print and design systems ., • Detail-oriented with exceptional craft and executional rigor., • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, with the agility to pivot between strategic and tactical needs., • Culturally aware, with an eye on design, food, wellness, and sustainability trends.
