Synopsis of the work..... In the near future, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) unearths a series of sealed, subterranean chambers beneath the Valley of the Kings. Inside lie pre-Egyptian biological anomalies: preserved, highly volatile genetic material belonging to the entities that inspired the ancient pantheon. Dubbed Project Genesis-Osiris, the military apparatus successfully synthesizes these ancient strains into biological weapons, engineering apex pathogen-hybrid soldiers meant to guarantee absolute geopolitical dominance. The weapons are classified into specialized tactical vectors: The turning point occurs during a live-fire trial at a secluded facility in the Red Sea. The biological vectors do not just mutate; they awaken. The genetic templates carry a dormant, ancient consciousness—a quantum-level sentience that overpowers the cybernetic and chemical inhibitors installed by military scientists. The weapons realize their identity. They are not tools of the state; they are the ancient gods of Egypt, and they view modern humanity as an errant, ungrateful creation. The deities initiate a synchronized global coup. Vector-Anubis breaches containment, transforming the facility’s deceased personnel into a vanguard army. Simultaneously, a rogue intelligence broadcast transmits a targeted acoustic frequency worldwide, activating latent, airborne strains of Vector-Sekhmet already hidden in global commercial hubs as part of a pre-planned deterrent web. Within forty-eight hours, the old world collapses. Major capitals fall to the crimson madness of Sekhmet’s plague, while the ever-expanding armies of Anubis march through the ruins of Europe and Asia, immune to conventional gunfire. From the depths of the Nile and the Amazon, Sobek’s leviathans sever global shipping lanes and destroy naval blockades, completely isolating the continents. The pantheon establishes a new global hierarchy, transforming the Earth into a techno-spiritual feudal empire: Humanity is reduced to a servant class, forced to worship the very weapons they engineered. The remnants of the world's militaries form a scattered, underground resistance known as The Iron Cartouche. Operating from deep salt mines and shielded bunkers, they realize conventional warfare is useless against gods who control biology and death. To fight back, the resistance must exploit the only weakness left by Project Genesis-Osiris: the incomplete gene-mapping of Horus, the rightful heir. The scientists had isolated the Horus strain but deemed it too unstable to synthesize. The final hope for human survival rests on a desperate mission to infiltrate the orbital Pyramid of Giza, steal the raw Horus archetype, and find a human host capable of bonding with the genetic god to challenge the tyranny of the Ennead. Below are the first few chapters.
