Job Description Looking for inside sales and customer service as well as clerical work position. Position involves price quotes, product information, literature, follow-ups, and order processing. Ability to resolve problems and multitask is pertinent. We manufacture medicine cabinets and supply bath accessories to distributors and general contractors throughout the USA, any experience dealing with this type of work will be helpful. Mechanical understanding is also helpful to explain product line to customers. A pleasant phone voice will be important since answering phones as well as doing follow-up calls to try and close orders. Summary of Qualifications: • Highly motivated, computer literate, • MS Office, • Outlook, • Access knowledge is helpful, • Experience in Stack or similar construction estimating software is helpful, • Experience in ConstructConnect construction bidding software is helpful, • Customer service experience, • Proficient in math, • Exposure to wholesale and construction industry, • Exposure to architectural and blue print documents, • A fast learner who is not afraid of a challenge and can handle pressure, with the ability to multi task, • History of stable employment and looking for long term employment a must, • Be able to work independently Price Quotations Gather job & contact name, shipping & delivery information and architect information requirements needed to: • Leverage ConstructConnect online platform to identify, track, and analyze new construction project opportunities, • Prepare quotations, • Revise quotations already entered in Access, • Cross-reference products to BASCO part numbers where necessary, • Enter quotation information into Access, • Evaluate accurate follow-up date and enter in Access, • Prepare project folder for multiple or BASCO specified quotations, • Prepare submittal package for HFA (Hold For Approval) orders, • Check submittal package when returned for changes or requoting, • Review purchase order for accuracy on parts, and pricing, • Check delivery address zip code, • Acknowledge Receipt and delivery information to customer, • Check order against quotation (if applicable), • Prepare purchase order for drop shipments when required, • Search for bidder information when multiple follow-ups arise, • Follow-up on quotes on a daily basis, reevaluate for next follow-up, • Email requests when no response by telephone and reenter next follow-up date, • Review and pull any quotes to be killed when necessary, • Review BASCO specified quotes if killed and give to authorized individual for extra follow-up HISTORY OF BASCO INC.
