We apply our unique expertise across strategic communications, public affairs, research, and digital marketing to create sophisticated and customized strategies that make change possible for both American and European clients. • Starting Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000, • Expectation to work from one of our offices (DC, NYC, SF, CHI, LA) at least 3 days a week The Impact You Will Make BPI is seeking a Director of Insights to lead the development and execution of data-driven research and analytics strategies that inform client campaigns and strategic communications. This role sits at the nexus of analytics, strategy, and storytelling—transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive results. What the Day-to-Day Looks Like • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients, translating complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations., • Drive the agency’s overarching research approach, ensuring that data-driven methodologies are at the core of all client campaigns and communications., • Shape the agency’s Point of View (POV) by staying ahead of industry trends and evolving analytics techniques., • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive research and analytics strategies, with a particular focus on sophisticated survey research., • Direct the full lifecycle of research projects, from initial design and methodology selection to final analysis and reporting., • Master sophisticated analytical tools to transform raw data into insights that optimize digital and creative campaign performance., • Oversee and mentor a team of analysts and researchers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth., • Manage internal workflows and processes to ensure project timelines are met and resources are allocated effectively. Requirements What You Bring • 8+ years of experience in strategy, messaging, market research, or insights roles, preferably in an agency, political, or public affairs environment, • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects in fast-paced environments, • Ability to manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and innovation, • Expertise in research methodologies, including polling, focus groups, in-depth interviews, and digital analytics, • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, persuasive insights, • Experience working with AI supported research methodologies, • Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytics platforms, • Experience working crossfunctionally with internal teams (strategy, creative, paid media, and digital) to integrate insights into campaign planning and execution, • Excellent communication and presentation skills, • Strong interest in how to harness AI to strengthen research and make processes more efficient Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with voter data, media measurement, and digital campaign metrics, • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., political science, statistics, data science, or communications) Benefits BPI offers a wide range of benefits to U.S.-based employees, including 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) program with employer match up to 4%, generous time off for vacation, $50 monthly phone reimbursement, unlimited sick time, and 16 weeks of paid leave for new parents.
