Full-Time | Locations: Newark, DE · Wilmington, DE · Middletown, DE · Elkton, MD ChristianaCare | Emergency Medicine ChristianaCare is currently seeking full-time Physician Assistants — to join our high-performing Emergency Medicine team across four state-of-the-art Emergency Departments in Delaware and Maryland. About the Role As a member of ChristianaCare’s Emergency Medicine team, you will deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient population across our four EDs: • Christiana Hospital (Level I Trauma Center), • Wilmington Hospital, • Middletown Free-standing ED, • Evaluate and treat patients with varying acuity in both fast track and core ED settings., • Work closely with ED physicians, who provide continuous clinical support., • Perform advanced procedures including wound repair, suturing, splinting, I&Ds, and more (PAs)., • Full-time: 32 hours per week, • ChristianaCare’s EDs collectively serve over 225,000 patients annually, • Christiana Hospital ranks among the top 25 busiest emergency departments in the U.S., • Delaware’s only Level I Trauma Center serving both adults and children, • Named to Forbes’ Best Employers for Diversity & Inclusion, • Competitive base salary, • Productivity and quality incentive bonuses, • Earning potential of $95+ per hour (for PAs), • Eligible for Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), • 403(b), 457(b), and Defined Contribution Retirement Plans, • Health, dental, and vision coverage, • Fully paid malpractice insurance, • 12 weeks of paid parental leave Physician Assistant Candidates: • Graduate from an accredited PA program, • NCCPA Board Certification, • Completion of an Emergency Medicine internship or demonstrated EM experience, • Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred, • Proficiency in advanced ED procedures (suturing, I&Ds, splinting, arthrocentesis, etc.) At ChristianaCare, you’ll be part of a mission-driven, forward-thinking organization that values innovation, diversity, and continuous learning.
