They prosecute complex class and representative actions against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies and have recovered millions of dollars for thousands of workers and consumers. As they expand into New York, they are building out their Manhattan team with experienced litigators who share their commitment to justice and client advocacy. Job Description • Serve as a Senior Associate Attorney handling wage-and-hour, employment, and consumer class and representative actions in New York state and federal courts, • Lead and manage all phases of complex civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation, • Draft, edit, and argue substantive motions, including dispositive and class-related motions, in state and federal courts, • Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, fact witnesses, and experts, and prepare clients and witnesses for testimony, • Develop and execute litigation strategy in collaboration with firm leadership and junior team members, • Appear in court regularly for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings, representing clients with confidence and professionalism, • Mentor and support junior attorneys and staff, helping to build a strong New York practice and office culture, • Licensed to practice law in New York (NY Bar in good standing required), • Several years of civil litigation experience, preferably 5+ years, including discovery, motion practice, and taking/defending depositions, • Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and/or wage-and-hour/employment cases strongly preferred, • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail, • Proven ability to independently manage complex cases and a busy litigation calendar, • Professional, steady work history and strong client-facing skills, • You'll play a lead role in shaping a growing Manhattan office and multi-state plaintiff-side practice, • You'll work with a collegial group of experienced attorneys who value mentorship, collaboration, and high-quality advocacy, • You'll receive competitive senior-level compensation ($130,000-$400,000 DOE), medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and strong support for professional development and continuing education
