Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k), • Dental insurance, • Flexible schedule, • Health insurance, • Paid time off Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients to diagnose cardiovascular conditions., • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac imaging., • Prescribe treatment plans, including medications and lifestyle changes, to manage cardiovascular health., • Educate patients and their families about heart disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices., • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary., • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care., • Document patient information accurately in the medical record, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements., • Participate in continuing education programs to maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in cardiology., • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices for patient safety and care.Minimum Education Requirement, • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with a focus on Cardiology., • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology, • Successful completion of an approved Cardiology residency training program.Licensure, • Valid and active license to practice as a Cardiologist in the State of New York., • BE/BC in Cardiology is preferred, • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications., • Active DEA LicenseQualifications, • Experience in patient care within a medical office setting is preferred., • Experience with ECG, Echo, Stress Testing, • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to patients., • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment., • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals committed to enhancing the health and well-being of our patients through exceptional cardiology care.
