Job Description The Mental Health Association is seeking Per Diem Peer Support Specialist for our new program, 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, operating out of Hudson county. The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program will respond to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. MCORT will work in coordination with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline crisis centers. (The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline was formerly the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.) MCORT is to be comprised of a two-person team in the field under remote supervision by a third professional from a centralized location. Shifts are on an as-needed basis for this position. Specifically seeking holiday and weekend coverage. The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program will respond to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. Then, the driver will receive one half of their regular rate as thus determined multiplied by the number of hours in excess of forty that the driver worked in that week. Position Summary The CDL Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a 24-foot straight truck to deliver fresh dairy products to customer locations on an assigned route. This position requires compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations, excellent customer service, and the ability to perform physical delivery tasks. Compensation $270.00/day Overtime Half Rate Description: Drivers who work in excess of forty (40) hours in a work week will be paid overtime, calculated as follows: The driver's total compensation for the week (under the daily rate or otherwise) shall be divided by the driver's total hours for the week to determine the driver's "regular rate" for that week. Then, the driver will receive one half of their regular rate as thus determined multiplied by the number of hours in excess of forty that the driver worked in that week. Thus, for example, if a driver has a daily rate of $220 and works 45 hours in a work week over the course of five days, then the driver's total compensation will be ($220)(5) = $1,100. Dividing that total compensation by hours results in ($1,100) / (45 hrs.) = $24.44/hr. One half of $24.44 is $12.22. Job Summary: BrandSafway is seeking a CDL A Driver to deliver and pick up scaffolding equipment to and from our customers. The successful candidate will make local deliveries and pickups to and from the Carlstadt, NJ Yard and job sites throughout the New York City area, operating a tractor trailer 75-80% of the day. When not out making deliveries and/or pickups, the candidate will be responsible for assisting with maintenance and organization of the yard and/or warehouse. Key Responsibilities: + Assist the scaffold crews and warehouse personnel with loading/unloading, moving and organizing equipment. + Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, operations, branch and other managers. + Drive a pick-up, flat bed, truck tractor, or other appropriate motor vehicles and adhere to the applicable rules, polices and regulations of BrandSafway, and any local, state or Federal (US DOT/FMCSA) regulatory agency. + Ensure applicable safety equipment and appropriate documents are in the motor vehicle and are current/valid. + Ensure that a motor vehicle is adequately maintained from a general housekeeping perspective (i.e. truck bed and cab cleaned/free from clutter/debris). + Keep accurate time records (i.e. logbooks/DOT Driver Time Sheets) as they relate to the day's activities, such as motor vehicle inspections, loading/unloading, driving, break periods, and other applicable non-driving work activities. + Perform and document routine inspections of motor vehicle, cargo securement, and equipment. + Report safety and/or mechanical issues or damaged equipment concerns to a supervisor. + Safely handle and transport company equipment in a timely manner to company jobsites, warehouses, and yards. + Safely operate forklifts as applicable. + Various other duties assigned by your supervisor or other management (branch, operation, job site) personnel. Qualifications: + Requires a valid Class A driver's license + Must be at least 21 years of age to operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) with a single/combination gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) greater than 10,000 lbs.). + Must be able to acquire a Federal DOT Medical Certificate, if applicable. + Ability to pass a federal background check + Ability to obtain NYC SST Card (40-Hour) + Ability to obtain TWIC credentials in addition to other federal job site access badges + Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficiently + If applicable, successfully complete the company's forklift training program(s). + Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus. + Requires the ability to present a clean professional image.
