Please review the job details below and then click “apply.” We're looking for someone to join our team as a Project Manager Lead - Construction who: The Construction Project Lead is a senior leader within the PMO, responsible for overseeing and delivering Clinica Sierra Vista’s corporate construction portfolio, including new builds, tenant improvements, remodels, and capital improvement projects. This role combines strategic portfolio leadership with hands-on construction management execution. The Construction Project Lead partners closely with the PMO Director, executives, clinical leadership, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, compliance, and aligned with CSV’s mission and operational needs. In addition to leading complex construction initiatives, this role serves as a mentor to Project Managers, a quality assurance and governance lead, and a champion for standardization and continuous improvement across the PMO. Project assignments are determined based on organizational priorities and may include construction and non‑construction initiatives of comparable complexity and impact. Essential Functions: Project & Portfolio Leadership • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of corporate construction projects, including new construction and tenant improvements., • Serve as the primary owner of the construction portfolio, coordinating priorities, schedules, budgets, and dependencies., • Partner with the PMO Director on portfolio planning, governance, and executive reporting., • Manage highly complex, sensitive, or high-visibility initiatives, including regulatory, clinical, and operational construction projects., • Act as an escalation point for project risks, scope changes, cost impacts, and stakeholder concerns. Construction Management & Execution • Coordinate and supervise construction projects from planning through close-out, including scheduling, budgeting, quality, safety, compliance, and contract adherence., • Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors, lead bid walks, pre-construction meetings, punch walks, and closeouts., • Lead coordination with the Architect and General Contractor to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, life-safety codes, and organizational standards., • Review and manage change orders with the Architect and GC, assessing cost, schedule, and scope impacts and recommending actions to, • Drive design and construction execution with awareness of CSV, commissioning, and validated system requirements., • Partner with Facilities, IT, Clinical, and Compliance teams to support inspections, accreditation, and operational readiness., • Serve as the primary point of contact between ownership, Architect, and GC, facilitating timely decisions, issue resolution, and approvals., • Ensure seamless transition from design to construction, move-in readiness, and post-occupancy evaluations., • Ensure adherence to CSV’s hybrid PMI / Agile project delivery methodology., • Support governance processes, portfolio reporting, and executive updates., • Develop and maintain SOWs, contracts, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and code requirements., • Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field., • Master’s degree preferred., • PMP certification required., • Agile certification strongly preferred., • Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in project and portfolio management, with significant experience in construction or capital projects., • Proven experience leading new construction and tenant improvement projects., • Prior experience mentoring or leading project teams required., • Demonstrated expertise in change management, stakeholder management, budgeting, and project analytics.
