Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Driver Job Description The Warehouse Driver supports daily warehouse operations by handling shipping and receiving activities, performing cycle counts and inventory control, and providing responsive customer service. This role ensures that orders are processed accurately, inventory remains organized and up to date, and customers receive clear assistance with orders and installation-related questions. Responsibilities • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documents., • Prepare, package, and stage outgoing shipments in accordance with company standards and customer requirements., • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels., • Organize and maintain warehouse inventory locations to support efficient picking and order fulfillment., • Assist customers with placing orders, locating products, and understanding order details., • Provide clear and courteous support to customers regarding installation questions and product usage., • Operate as a warehouse driver to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse and to designated areas., • Follow established shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures to ensure compliance and consistency., • Collaborate with team members to resolve order issues, inventory discrepancies, and customer concerns., • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company guidelines. Essential Skills • Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations., • Hands-on experience with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock organization., • Customer service experience in a retail environment, with the ability to assist customers professionally and courteously., • Ability to support customers with order-related inquiries and basic installation questions., • Capability to work in a warehouse environment and perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and organizing products. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Familiarity with common warehouse processes and procedures., • Comfort working directly with customers and internal teams to resolve issues., • Attention to detail when checking orders, shipments, and inventory records., • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues., • Reliability and willingness to follow established safety and operational guidelines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
