Key Responsibilities: • Prepare construction drawings and technical specifications for water facility electrical systems., • Perform engineering calculations: short circuit current, arc flash studies, voltage drop, and breaker coordination., • Specify and procure major electrical equipment and develop bid packages., • Manage project scope, budgets, and schedules., • Liaise with contractors, consultants, agencies, and internal teams., • Provide construction management and field inspections., • Contribute to rate case filings, annual capital budgets, and technical reports., • Present project details to agencies, districts, and community groups. What We Are Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience., • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an electrical engineer., • Experience with motor control center design, NEC compliance, and electrical construction practices., • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office., • Valid California Driver’s License., • California EIT certification or PE registration highly desirable.
