For additional information about our company, visit our website at POSITION SCOPE The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and managing onsite construction activities for heavy civil construction projects to ensure quality and cost. This position will be a travelling position where the qualified applicant will be required to integrate and travel with a project team or paving crew to assist with all the functions of the project. The individual must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Some night and weekend work will be required. Job Description Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our heavy highway construction team for our Laredo, TX office. The Project Engineer will support the project management team in planning, coordinating, and executing various phases of highway and infrastructure projects. This role involves assisting in cost control, scheduling, document management, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Must be willing to Permanently Relocate to the Laredo, TX area. JOB DESCRIPTION Provide technical engineering expertise to a specific project and provide assistance in the preparation of estimates; measure and calculate quantities of work put in place for payment and provide input for the cost accounting system.
