ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • General vehicle maintenance on assigned vehicle, • Complete all log books and other paperwork, • Perform daily vehicle inspections *Coordinate between Transportation and Shipping departments to move trailers as needed • Report vehicle maintenance and necessities to appropriate management, • Load and unload customer and/or vehicles as required, • Maintains and cleans vehicle and assigned work area, • Material handling, • Conform to all DOT safety regulations *Perform local deliveries, as needed • Other duties as assigned by supervisor What you'll need: • Possess a current and valid Class A CDL., • Safe driving record with no more than one accident or moving violation within the previous 12 months from date of hire., • 12+ months of verifiable driving experience (defined as interstate operation of a Class A combination vehicle/tractor trailer) within the previous three years., • At least 21 years of age at the time of hire., • High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience with electronic, on-board recordkeeping systems., • Previous experience working in customer facing roles.
