(Monday – Friday shifts available at one of our 12 Day Hab locations, depending on need and availability) BIS - Residential – Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS) for the Residential program must be able to travel to assigned residential locations in Manhattan, Bronx, Queens and Long Island locations. As a BIS you will provide functional behavioral analysis and behavior/psychological assessments, develop and monitor behavior support plans and assist with the development and implementation of individual goals. These roles can have some flexibility in start and end times, with weekly office hours. Please Note: These roles have some autonomy, but the BIS is required to drive and travel to assigned QSAC locations. BIS - Family Services Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS) provide 1 to 1 services in the individual’s home and community. Applicants should have knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The BIS will work with the individual, family and Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff to develop and monitor Person Centered Service Plans to assist the individual in achieving their personal goals. We are looking for committed and energetic Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS) who will conduct, assess and develop behavior support plans, address challenges and train our QIDPs and Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in the Day Habilitation Program. The salary range for this position is $52,000-$60,000 annually. Job Responsibilities Behavior Intervention, Assessments & Analysis • Maintain coordination of active treatment services for people being supported in QSAC Day Habilitation programs in accordance with OPWDD regulations, • Develop/Monitor/Assess monthly goals and objectives to teach the valued outcomes outlined in Life Plans, • Write/Design and revise all individual goals and observe goals implementation by Direct Support (DSP) Professionals, • Maintain clinical paperwork as regulated by New York State (OPWDD) regulations, • Provide written goal summary for and participate in interdisciplinary meetings, • Review data collected and provide monthly updates on progress, • Track due dates for required documents and reports, • Provide training to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) on skills and techniques to support people with autism by implementing the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), • Provide direct instruction for goal implementation and proactive and reactive strategies, • Assist with arrival and dismissal, fire drills and assist/support when typical staffing ratios are low, • Collaborate with program supervisors and help with staff disciplinary actions when necessary, • Ensure effective communication regarding behavioral issues of individuals, • Complete staff observations and provide feedback, • Participate and work as part of interdisciplinary team, • Maintain an open, friendly, professional relationship with all staff and families. About the job We are looking for a Logistics Associate to join our growing team in New York. This role will work closely with the logistics associates, driver, and station manager. Responsibilities: • Collection/Delivery - Operates all assigned vehicles, single, tandem, or multi axle configurations, forklifts, etc. in accordance with established safety standards, proper vehicle operation techniques and specified time schedules. Acts as the face of Shengsheng for all shipment collections and deliveries and ensures that customer interactions are handled in a pro-active and professional manner at all times., • Packing - Prepares and packages of all specialist packaging and temperature controlled consignments of various temperature zones ensuring all mandatory procedures are adhered to. Re-packs and/or re-ice shipments where necessary and ensuring all mandatory procedures are adhered to., • Documentation - Ensures the correct documentation such as airway bill, delivery slips, and invoices are accurately completed and processed with the shipment. Be aware of the regulations covering the transportation, labelling and packaging of dangerous/hazardous substances and observe and comply with these regulations at all times. Completes necessary paperwork, including accurate logbooks, records of cargo and any other assigned record-keeping duties on a daily basis., • Loading/Unloading - Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials and products, safely on trucks, trailers, or railcars by hand or by forklift truck. When loading, ensures loads are evenly balanced and distributed from the front of the trailer to the back and from side to side, as well checks axle weights and loads them in accordance with the DOT regulations., • Warehouse - Performs all necessary duties to maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse, ensuring all materials are stored in the designated areas. Reports any shortfalls of packaging stock, to the appropriate person, to ensure minimal stock levels are always maintained. Ensures refridges, freezers and incubator/oven temperatures are checked and remain within prescribed parameters and maintain accurate records thereof.
